Once I'd discovered and fallen in love with this daisy pattern, I experimented with a bright, varied and random mix of colours. I started making these daisies in winter, which turned into spring and then a heatwave at the end of March 2012, so the weather and changing season has played a large part in the genesis of this style of cushion cover! The result is a mutli-coloured daisy extravanganza, truly a rainbow selection of shades. In this incarnation, the 7th cushion i have made in this style, the daisies are crocheted in a mixture of acrylic and wool/acrylic mix yarns and they are all edged with pure new lambs' wool in cream. Each side has 16 flowers on it. The cushion is finished off with 5 rustic off-white buttons to fasten the cushion and it measures 16" x 16"/ 41cm x 41cm.
Gentle handwash is recommended for this item.
