I love bold designs, I like the black dogs and crows too, there is something about painting freehand in black that is good for the adrenalin!

Full description
Retro flying heart in red and black, this is a freehand painted piece in food safe underglaze colours and lead-free glaze. I fire to high earthen ware temperatures in my studio in South Norfolk.
The design is painted up and over the rim of the mug and there is a tiny red heart on the handle . i back stamp the bottom of the mug with my details and this piece is entitled 'Ink hearts". Because this is a free hand painted piece you can feel the texture of the painting under the surface of the glaze. This is a totally individual piece.

dishwasher safe with a care tag attached with jute string to the handle
I post using first class recorded delivery and use recycled materials wherever possible.
