I started making iPad covers after a friend bought an iPad. I love patching different fabrics together and this is a perfect project for that.

iPad case: Stunningly unique, handmade fabric iPad case, made using a gorgeous Japanese designer fabric.
Here's a softly padded gadget cover / sleeve for your iPad, patchworked from three different fabrics - one with a wonderful sewing print themed print showing cards of poppers and buttons, another listing vintage labels and tags, and a complementary tape measure print. Two were sourced and sent from Japan, one from the US. This is a sought after Japanese designer, and her fabric is hard to come by in the west. I'm thrilled to have enough to make some items.
The iPad case closes with a velcro tab. It's a striking case, and one of a kind - all my makes are individual, and I won't make another exactly like this. I have others listed, so please check my shop if you glimpse another in the picture of my cases that you like.
My iPad covers are a perfect fit for the original iPad but also sized to fit the iPad 2. I've tested with both and sold to people who have both. They are pictured with the iPad 1. They make an iPad prettier! I've sized this one a little more generously to cover an iPad with a protective backing case - see the picture. Most of my cases will do this, but are more cosy a fit - this is a little looser for those that prefer that.
