This is a custom order for customer 'RuthinEdinburgh' so please do not attempt to purchase these birds unless you are this customer!
However, if you would like something similar, please do not hesitate to contact me!
This order is for a bird bride and groom. The groom is made from a charcoal grey checked fabric, in a wool blend. He has a white felt breast. His wings have a white felt base with a top layer of the grey checked fabric. The handsome fellow is wearing a kilt in shades of wine red and fern green. He is also proudly wearing a furry (fun fur) sporran with crocheted wool 'chain'.
His bonny bride is made from a white linen with lace applique wings and a lace veil which is edged in blue felt flowers. Each handcut flower has a tiny blue seed bead centre.
Both birds are happily free-standing on re-purposed copper wire legs. Each bird has eyes made from teeny black beads centred upon little circles of ivory/white felt. The groom has a brown felt beak, and the bride has a 100% wool felt beak in a light tan shade.
The bride bird measures just over 3" long, and her groom is a little longer at just under 3 1/2". They stand just under 7 1/2 inches tall max.
