These were the first piece of jewellery I made to commemorate the memory of our lost baby. I like the world knowing that for a short time I was fortunate enough to be a Mother.

"An angel in the book of life wrote down your baby's birth, And whispered as he closed the book; Too beautiful for this world"
These earrings were designed by me after losing our first baby. It was one of the hardest things I have ever had to cope with. The desire to fiercely remember my lost baby was primal, I didn't want the world to forget that for a short time I was graced with the beauty and wonder of being a Mother.
I wear my earrings with pride and if anyone ever comments on how pretty they are I am sure to share their true meaning. In this small way I feel that our lost Sprout is always with me, both in spirit and physical form. I hope that when others wear these they too will feel as if the memory of their baby is close by, a physical reminder of their lost little Angel.
The Rose Quartz stone is symbolic of the egg that our baby grew from while the wings represent the protection and love that I will always harbour for them.
Rose Quartz is known as the stone of love and emotional healing. It's soothing energies have been used for centuries to gently help the wearer to heal from their loss. Rose Quartz also helps to ease the anger, hurt, pain and fears that a miscarriage can cause. It promotes forgiveness and love, helping to restore an emotional balance. Rose Quartz is thought of as one of the strongest fertility crystals, it's nurturing properties are there to soothe all those in need.
