Full description
I like to experiment with everyday objects and include them in my work. I am always on the hunt for new ideas and sometimes they come from the most unexpected objects! This was an idea I had whilst I was at University and I have finally got around to making it!
This is a slip-cast novelty mug, the shape of which was taken from a 1 pint milk carton. It is cast in porcelain, glazed to stoneware and then a transfer is applied to mimic the label.
It comes out slightly smaller than a 1 pint due to shrinkage.
Other variations of the label are available, Just have a look or email me for any special requirements.
Due to the hand made nature of the piece it may differ slightly from the photo.
