Bang on trend, this hand-made bag has got a vintage purse look, but is made from hessian giving an old classic a quirky twist.
The handbag is 11 long by 7 high and around 2 deep (all measurements are approximate). It has a double clipped 28 long single strap.
Inside there is a single pocket and the whole thing is lined with multicoloured polka dot cotton fabric, keeping the bag remarkably lightweight, despite its handsome classic styling
Finally to set the whole thing off I've added an upcycled vintage brooch, which is removable and has a classic pin swivel to keep it in place.
I love bags and have had to stop keeping the new designs for myself!
Every bag I make, even if it has the same closure or basic shape, is a one off, with its own unique twist. I use all sorts of recycled, upcycled sneakily sourced fabrics as well as adding unique details - be it hand made flowers, funky buttons or a piece of vintage jewellery given a new lease of life, all of which will set your bag apart from the rest!
