This floral hoop features an extract for the recipe for 'Buns' from Warnes Model Cookery Book (c.1900). With half an ounce of caraway seeds, half a pound of currants, a little nutmeg, a little lemon peel, eggs, flour and butter, you too could be eating some delightfully vintage buns.
A rather perfect wall hanging for lovers of afternoon tea.
Embroidery Hoop is 7" and covered with pink, white and apple-green floral cotton. The 'To Make Buns' recipe has been sewn on to a lovely lace doily and features a cheery gold teapot embellishment.
