A very charming bride and groom!
The bride is made from a linen based fabric in the most wonderful duck-egg blue shade. I have given her white lace applique wings and a very pretty white lace veil, edged in handcut felt flowers. The flowers are in two shades of lilac and each flower has a tiny clear seed bead centre. The birdie bride's beak is made from a pale tan wool felt.
The handsome groom is made from charcoal grey suiting fabric with a white felt breast. His wings are made from charcoal eco-felt with a top layer of the grey suiting fabric. This dashing fellow is wearing a top-hat made from the same felt as his bride's flowers. The main body of the hat is in the slightly darker lilac shade and I have added a narrow band made from the paler lilac. He also wears a bow-tie made from the paler felt and has an additional 'v' shaped tail made from the charcoal eco-felt.
Both birds are happily free standing on re-purposed copper wire legs and have eyes made from tiny black seed beads centred on little circles of ivory felt for added definition and character!
Each bird is plumped with polyester toy filling so that they retain their beautiful shape :)
