'Floral Silk!' Is a pretty Gadget, or DS pouch, made from a single silk Gent's Neck Tie, in deep claret red, with a profusion of colourful pansy flowers and edged in complimenting pale blue satin ribbon!
This pretty item is fun and quirky, and very eco friendly too, reusing a silk Gent's tie and is lined in thick white cotton (and padded as the tie inserts have been left in place), the tie edges have been hand sewn edge to edge and then gently over lapped on the base to further cushion. I have also added ribbon, gold tone ring and vintage lucite toggle button fastening, (rather than a magnetic popper, just in case you wanted to pop a phone into it) to enable closure of the pouch.
The Gent's neck tie is 100% silk with a matt finish, so a little touch of luxury for your favoured gadget. I would suggest sponging, or hand washing in cool water and laying flat to dry.
Approximate measurements! The outer measurements of the pouch itself, when laid flat are that it is approx 13cms by 14cms, the inner cotton lining width is smaller, approx 12cms in width and fits my daughter's DS with room to spare, as you can see in photo 4.
You don't get her DS by the way, just the pouch, she would be lost without it!
