Full description
An unusual design from Claire Wood Jewellery, inspired by Rennie Mackintosh’s Art Deco lantern lampshades. This design has evolved whilst I’ve been working on it and has taken on a bit of a 60’s sci-fi retro vibe!
Handmade in my studio using traditional silversmithing techniques in Sterling Silver, the box shaped frame spins freely around the central spindle and the 6mm diameter Amethyst bead at its centre. The earrings are completed with an elegant square wire ‘tassel’, which sways freely with the wearer’s movement. Fitted with a handmade sterling silver shepherd crook earwire. The earrings are very lightweight and comfortable to wear.
The cube frame is 8mm square. Overall earring length, including tassel and earwire, is 58mm approx.
The earrings are presented in a Claire Wood Designer Jewellery gift box.
