My prints were inspired by my Portuguese Water Dog, Figo - named after the legendary Portuguese footballer. My Enlightened Hound prints celebrate the principles dogs instinctively follow for a simple and contented life. Figo is a constant source of amusement, relaxation and happiness and I believe we humans could benefit from adopting some of their canine wisdom! The typographic style of the prints is inspired by early American show posters and Wild West Wanted posters and use original fonts from that era.

The Enlightened Hound greeting cards celebrate the instinctive principles dogs follow for a simple and contented life. We humans can learn much from their canine wisdom!
They are an original and thoughtful greeting card for any dog lover and can be used for a variety of occasions.
The cards have been recreated from my original linoprints using authentic fonts from original Wild West and US Civil War posters. The letters are softly distressed to enhance the vintage feel of the cards.
They are printed in the UK by The Almanac Gallery on a high quality 275gsm textured matt card, using vegetable based inks. Each card is individually sealed in its own cellophane bag with a sunny yellow envelope.
The cards are blank inside for your own personal message.
Each card measures 127x177mm.
Cards will be posted First Class Mail in a cardboard backed envelope
