Full description
This baby's Christening keepsake is created from dupion silk fabric in off white (as illustrated) or cream.
The backing fabric is plain poly/cotton.
I will embroider your own choice of words in any colour of thread. Silver metallic has been used on the main pic.
Up to 4 lines of text and a small motif can be included.
The bib will be trimmed with this 15cm wide guipure lace, or a narrow version of the same if you prefer.
Instead, I can omit the lace and edge the bib with handmade plain cotton binding for a less fancy effect.(see photos alongside)
A 17 loop of double satin ribbon has been sewn in place, to enable the bib to go over the baby's head and be tied to fit.
Although meant as a keepsake, this bib is able to be worn by a baby and may be washed gently by hand if necessary.
