Full description
A really quick and easy to knit baby aviator hat. It can either be knit with chunky weight yarn or with two strands of double knit yarn worked together.
It is knit on two needles.
It has a contrasting colour aviator flap and you can choose to make it button fastening, under the chin or to just let the earflaps hang loose.
The pattern gives instructions for four sizes of baby hat:
0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months and 1 - 2 years.
My patterns are written in standard uk terms with clear instructions and plenty of pictures to guide you.
There are tips on knitting with two strands of yarn.
Yarn: Any chunky weight or two strands of double knit
Tension: 14st and 19 rows to a 4 (10cm square) over stocking st)
Needles: 6.5mm
