This piece was inspired by the Folksy March Challenge.... Ireland.
Spirals are a favourite subject for Shoogly Mike so for inspiration he looked to the ancient Irish Celtic symbolism. The triple spirals at Newgrange hold a particular interest and are pre-Celtic given they were created around 3,200 years BC.

Full description

Designed and made for you by Shoogly Beads.

This one is named for the pre-celtic and celtic triple spiral formation or Triskele.

The pendant base is a dark green with swirls of lighter sparkling greens and gold glimmer. Three spirals have been formed with gold and copper clay and set into the base pendant. The spirals have been buffed with the rest of the pendant left with a light hand buffing.

The pendant is attached to approx 1 metre of dark green satin ribbon. The ribbon is held in place by a beautiful solid copper flower bead.

The ribbon has been treated at the ends to prevent fraying and can be tied any length to suit.

All metal used in this piece is pure copper which will patinate with age and add to the charm of the piece.

A beautiful and unusual gift.

The pendant is approx. 4.5 cms across and approx. 8mm thick

All jewellery is gift packaged
