My eldest daughter is about to turn 5, and so I was trying to think of something original and personal to give to her friends for their birthdays. Wobbly teeth is the talk of the playground for them at the moment, so I thought a little Tooth Fairy Pocket would go down well, but wanted to make something a bit more substantial, so came up with the idea of the Tooth Fairy Pocket Cushion, so they can put it on their bed at night and wake in the morning to see if the tooth fairy has been!

This handcrafted little Tooth Fairy Pocket Cushion can be personalised with your child's name on it. I made this particular one for my children's friend and it has been very popular.
The Tooth Fairy pocket is made out of padded pink or blue gingham and has the words 'Tooth Fairy' embroidered on it. It measures about 8cm x 10cm so big enough to fit any tooth and possibly a little present from the Tooth Fairy when she takes the tooth away.
The Tooth Fairy herself is made of felt and her wand has a special little gem at the end of it too.
The cushion measures about 22cm x 18cm and has embroidered and appliqué flowers and an appliqué butterfly or bee on the front of it.
The back of the cushion is made of matching pink or blue gingham, and the cushion is stuffed with polyester filling to conform to British standards.
A gorgeous little present, particularly when those first teeth are starting to wobble!
