Full description

Velvet hand-made flower (4 cm diameter) backed with lawn and crepe paper on a short (38cm) gold-plate chain and findings.

A violet in rich purple velvet on a short wire stem, hand-made using original Victorian flower maker’s tools by David Bloor, around the 1980s, possibly as pieces for a dress-maker or milliner, One of these forgotten flowers has now been rethought and re-crafted as the centrepiece for a necklace, by David's granddaughter Louise Bloor. Craft across the generations.
