These were inspired by an outfit of mine, I made a similar set to go with a dress I wore and got so many compliments I had to make some for sale.

Full description
Kindles and iPads are making the printed book become obsolete, rather than letting the written word die out I up cycle vintage copies of well loved books to make beautiful jewellery.
The beauty of book jewellery is that sometimes you can pick out words you recognise from the book on the beads or flowers.
This is a bracelet corsage hand made by me. The paper used to make this lovely corsage is from a vintage copy of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, this particular copy was published in 1976.
All jewellery is glazed to make it waterproof but please remember they are made from paper and will be unlikely to survive being submerged - so take your bracelet off before washing up. This particular bracelet is glazed with a sparkly glaze.
The central bead is faus pearl and the ribbon is blue. The bracelet measures approximately 24cm and is a simple tie close, the ends of the ribbon are also glazed with glitter to stop fraying.
These can be worn any way you like; as a bracelet, in your hair, on a bag, as a brooch anything.
