Birds with strong characters fascinate me and remind me of my mother. They know who they are and are 'proud' of it!
Facinated by flying creatures, when I was a child I would try and keep anything from insects to wild birds as pets, of course to my dissapointment I was rarely successful! Fortunately now I have three lovely chickens who roam around my garden :)

Full description
A stunning rare game bird usually found in Scotland, similar in looks to the black grouse but can be distinguised in flight by its rounded tail feathers.
Printed on quality cartridge paper using oil based inks. Every detail carved from lino, taken from my drawing study of a Capercaillie. (see photos)
As with all prints that are not produced digitally each image varies slightly in tone and ink applied giving the image its unique handmade quality.

Image size- A3 30cm x40cm and has a white surround, comes without frame for ease of postage, signed and numbered on the front.
