Full description
This lovely wool bowl, inspired by a spring garden, has had lots of time and love put into its creation. I made it by incorporating hand-cut and needle felted floral designs into a traditionally wet felted bowl. This process transforms fluffy wool tops into a sturdy, stitch-free hollow structure through the addition of hot water, soap, and plenty of rubbing, rolling and shaping.
The bowl would make a stunning decorative piece, yet is also sturdy enough to use for storage (light items only).
This is a bigger piece than my other bowls, measuring approximately 7inches/18cm diameter, and 3.5inches/8.5cm high.
Made from 100% merino wool.
