ORIGINAL lino print - 'Oystercatchers'

This is an original lino print printed with black oil-based ink onto Zerkall Printing Paper and then finished with by hand with 11 little beaks and 22 legs in red acrylic ink!

The print size is approximately 34x18cm and it will be supplied with a black mount/mat to fit a 40x30cm frame (but do let me know if you would like a different size).

These items are hand-printed and so vary slightly depending on ink density, character of the paper, pressure of the press and the way the wind blows (ok, maybe not the last bit).

This item will be carefully packed, re-using materials where possible and posted First Class & Signed For for UK destinations. Overseas buyers, the quoted fee is for a standard service. Thank you.

Last summer we spent a couple of weeks in the Outer Hebrides. A considerable amount of time on this holiday was spent trying to take a reasonable photograph of oystercatchers (one of OH's numerous favourite birds). Nature watching with a five year old boy is nigh on impossible most of the time but on one walk ours was content to amuse himself jumping on and off of the same rock time and time again and we managed to get just a little bit closer.
