My inspiration was waking up on a fairly spring like morning and noticing some daffodils in one of the pots at my back door. Spring has sprung!

Spring has officially sprung!
Inspired by daffodil flowers suddenly springing up in my own garden over the past couple of days, I decided to make some of these earrings. They have been popular at my farmers' markets for a few years and it's time for me to bring them to Folksy!
The flower itself is made from two separate yellow lucite flowers. The earwires are antique bronze in colour, as is the headpin, with the loop in, that acts as the flower's stalk.
The total length of each earring is approximately 5.5cms from the curve at the top of the earwire to the bottom of the stalk.
I make two sizes of flowers in these earrings and these are the larger size. The length is no different in the earrings, but the lucite flowers on this style are slightly larger.
The earwires will have rubber backs attached.
The wire is slightly delicate, so I would advise keeping these earrings separate from other pieces of jewellery when storing them. Should the wires become caught on an item of clothing, they could bend slightly, but are easily straightened again between your thumb and forefinger.
The heads of the daffodils are designed to bob up at down like a real daffodil would. In my opinion, being less rigid in design gives them a more realistic look. The little heads are free to move as you move. They hang down slightly as a normal daffodil head would.
