I thought I would try out making a pretty table runner using up some scraps of fabric

Full description
This table runner measures 87 x 13 1/2 approx and it has been made from a variety of fabrics in pretty autumn colours. There are the main patchwork strips that are made from 100% cotton scraps which have been sewn together to make panels. Then there are some other strips in between, one lot is made from a lovely beige curtain fabric which has some pretty embroidered leaves on it. The other fabric used is a cream cotton which has a self stripe to it.
The centre piece of the runner is made from the embroidered beige fabric. The whole thing is backed with some cream poly-cotton.
Both ends of the runner are decorated with some lovely beads which hang down.
The photos do not do justice to the beautiful colours in these fabrics.
