Just measure your baby/childs head around and from crown to ear and choose from the following sizes:
Newborn: 12.5”, stretches to 14’’ (4.5” from brim to crown)
0-3 months: 13”, stretches to 15” (5” brim to crown)
3-6 months: 15”, stretches to 17” (5.5-6” brim to crown)
6-12 months: 16”, stretches to 18” (6-6.5'' brim to crown)

Although my hats are knotted securely please never leave any child/baby unattended in a hat as could cause suffocation/choking (especially the design with plaits/buttons) or a hazard if any part becomes for any reason undone small parts could become loose.
