I made this knitted and felted handbag as a birthday present for my daughter and it has since been much admired, so I thought I would share the pattern with those of you who would like to make you own - perhaps in a different colour?

This listing is for the knitting pattern not the bag itself and does not include the materials.
The bag is made with Cascade 220 in Deep Plum but it would look good in any colour you choose.
The instructions include how to knit the I-cords for the plaited handles,the rose and the bag itself. You only need to know basic knitting techniques and I have included felting instructions and how to line and finish the bag.
Measurements are approximate dependent on the felting process:
Height: 8 ins (20 cms), width: 10.5 ins (26 cms) at the base and 9.25 ins (23 cms) at the top.
