When looking through my glass collection to get inspiration for new summer pieces the rich tones of the red and yellow mouth blown glass made me think of Indian spices. I coupled these with decorative patterns I have developed from my sketches of Indian fabric designs to create a warm, summery string of bunting. When we get the summer sun the light will shine through these lovely flags to create pools of light on the floor.

Full description
Get ready to celebrate summer with 5 beautiful stained glass amber yellow and red flags. The yellow flags spell out the word SUN and the red flags are painted with designs inspired by Indian fabric designs.
Each flag is hand painted with kiln fired glass paints and fired in the kiln. I then copper foil the edges, solder them and attach wire loops and string from organza ribbon and reclaimed beads from jewellery from charity shops!
These will look wonderful in a sunny window or summer house or decorating a party!
