Full description
This is a very special pair of mice, newly married! The Bride is on the verge of throwing her bouquet of pink felt flowers.
This pair of small felt mice are made from milky coffee coloured felt, with white felt tummies. Their eyes are black glass beads, their tails are button hole thread.
The Bride wears a full white lace skirt with a ruffle and a matching petticoat. Her white felt bodice fastens with three pearl beads and a white satin ribbon trails behind her. Her veil is made from a scrap of lace net, and is finished with a sparkly white bead.
The Groom wears a grey suit jacket fastened with two pearl beads, and he is adorned with a pink flower to match the Bride's bouquet. His top hat is made from grey felt and sits at a slightly jaunty angle over his little ears.
The Bride measures about 5cm high (just under 2 inches with her veil). The Groom, with his hat stands a little taller. They are both all hand sewn, and the felt is wool mix.
Probably not really suitable for small children, due to tiny parts.
The mice are based on a pattern my Granny used to make mice for my Mum when she was a child, but although she made ballerina mice, I don't think she made a married couple!
