As you may have noticed from our shop, we love vintage colours, patterns, fashion and design, especially from the 20s right up to the 70s, so we try to incorporate them as much as we can in our creations. We like to look through antique markets and auctions mainly for little gems of the past, in this way also re-using and recycling furniture and other materials. We also like to keep an eye for good quality contemporary materials that show an influence from these eras. This vibrant retro stool will bring a colourful vintage touch to your home.

Full description
This is a vintage stool that has been lovingly restored to give it a new lease of life, having had all its fillings and covers renewed. The main fabric on the stool seat is a genuine retro screen printed cotton fabric, probably from the 1960s. It is in great condition considering its age and it features an overlapping geometric pattern reminescent of leafs and flowers in a vibrant combination of yellow, orange, green, brown and white. The sides are upholstered in a contrasting contemporary tweedy yellow fabric. It also features pipping along its edge in the later fabric.
The legs are beech, where the old scratched tinted varnish has been removed and they have been re-polished using several coats of transparent shellac that has revealed and enhanced the natural colour and figure of the wood.
The stool measures 38(H) x 46(D) x 57(W) cm.

By that we mean that they are 2nd-hand, as opposed to new. This means that they often display some signs of their age, although we do not sell anything that we do not consider to be in good condition.
