Wilde for a new handbag? Shabby Cow brings you some more cool stuff made from old stuff. A truly unique handbag created from a hardback edition of the works of Oscar Wilde. The pretty purple print fabric that forms the interior of the bag compliments the colour of the text on the outside . The handbag measures approximately 21.5cm x 16cm, with a spine of 7.5cm which forms the base of the bag and is completed with new matching handles.
The fabric closure which contains a concealed magnet is adorned with a lovely piece of found jewellery. The magnet is attracted to a penny (for good luck) affixed to the outside of the handbag There is a useful fabric pocket to the interior measuring around 16cm x 10cm. The exterior of the handbag has been protected with several layers of varnish, preserving the attractive signs of use which enhances that shabby vintage appearence that we love so well.
