I've been pursuing a theme based on the tree and the moon for years and have rolled it out to include the sun and different seasons (and times of day) and all manner of variations with regards to the type of tile. It's an image which for whatever reason is very close to me and I continually attempt to recreate what I see in my mind as a mosaic. I hope it reflects it in someway.

Full description
The tree shivers against an autumn sky its leaves beginning to drop but not without transforming into blazing coppers and burnt orange before retreating for winter. The moon shines like a celestial mirrorball and bathes the tree in all it's autumnal glory.
I made it with a mixture of ceramic, glass and copper tiles, with different colours reflecting at different angles. The tree itself ranges through reflective coppers and deep reds with the leaves shining beautiful golds and rich brown oranges. The background dark and deep blue reflects the cold of the night and tiny mirrors act as stars in the sky. I took various photos with and without flash in an attempt to show just how pretty the mosaic catches the light.
It measures 20.2cm x 25.4cm (or 10 x 8 inches) framed and ready to hang onto someones wall.
