I've been pursuing a theme based on the tree and the moon for years and have rolled it out to include the sun and different seasons (and times of day) and all manner of variations with regards to the type of tile. It's an image which for whatever reason is very close to me and I continually attempt to recreate what I see in my mind as a mosaic. I hope it reflects it in someway.

Full description
The tree stands proud in summertime with a full foliage of leaves which shine and reflect the light from the red shiny sun sat in the sky. A true beauty in all it's summery splendour.
I made it with a mixture of ceramic, glass and copper tiles, with different colours reflecting at different angles. The tree itself ranges through deep browns to copper and ochre with the leaves reflecting varying shades of light to deep forest greens. The background blue ranges through the summery blue spectrum and has tiny hints of salmon pink and pastel orange running through. I took various photos with and without flash in an attempt to show just how pretty the mosaic catches the light.
It measures 20.2cm x 25.4cm (or 10 x 8 inches) framed and ready to hang onto someones wall.
