This was suggested by a customer looking for a gift for her friend's new baby. She sent me some lovely photos of the baby's room decorated with a woodland theme, including a beautiful tree mural with an owl sitting in the branches. It was great to be able to pick out the colours in the room and really get an idea of what the bunting would look like in the room. I love the idea that it went halfway around the world and is something that will be part of this little girls life as she grows up.

The idea for this woodland themed, handmade personalised bunting came from a customer who commissioned it for a friend's baby. I enjoyed making it so much and thought it was such lovely gift for a special newborn!
Each pennant is approx 15cm long and 15cm at the widest point, free motion machine embroidered and appliquéd onto linen. The whole string is finished with 1mtr long ties each side. Each appliquéd flag is £7.00, plain printed cotton flags can be added to make up a short name for £3.00 each
I have also been making a new 'rainbow' design bunting, again suggested by a customer. this works particularly well for children whose names have seven letters! (see the above pictures of Netalel's and William's bunting) However the design can be adjusted for longer or shorter names.
If you would like something similar (or completely different!) made to commemorate a special occasion, or as a lovely gift for a child, send me a message and we can talk over any ideas you have. The cost can be adjusted according to how many flags you would like on the bunting.
