I make all my pieces once an order is placed, so your furniture would be made to order. There is always some wiggle room in dimensions if you contact me first. I choose the seperate pieces of wood for each bench or table so as they compliment each other.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

Handmade solid oak bench made from green oak beams as shown in the pictures.

No visible fixings, delivered already assembled.
Comprising of three pieces of oak each with its own unique character that will split and age over time. After finding out your preference of grain and depth of character I choose each piece of oak to make a bench to best suit your tastes.
This item has no sharp edges or corners as its sanded with several grades of paper until the desired smooth finish is achieved.
Picture shows treated version of the bench or you can choose to leave it untreated should you wish. Treatment options include natural Danish oil finish, medium or dark oak oiled finish. If you have a specific requirement, please contact me to discuss your needs.
Larger versions of bench are available. The longest made thus far is 2.1mts long and these four are going to be positioned at the Battle of the Somme to celebrate the centenary next year.
These benches have also been used as a substitute Wedding Guest Book. The guests sign the treated bench with a sharpie marker pen and then sealed with clear varnish.
