These were first designed when I was thinking of an original gift for my childrens' teachers at the end of term. My pattern was then published in the first edition of 'Mollie Makes' and subsequently featured on the 'Guardian' online craft page. When I get a moment, I still love to sit quietly and crochet a little cosy.

Sweet little apple cosy, illustrated here on an average sized Granny Smith and a slightly smaller Braeburn. Hand crocheted in pure cotton yarn and finished with a Dorset button (made by me too!). Perfect for a lunchbox or grown up girls handbag, as a baby shower gift or as the star of a pretty Easter hamper! - keeps your apple cosy and stops it from getting bruised. My children's teachers got one each as a 'thank you' gift and they were just delighted.
