Full description

This Stained Glass Heart Suncatcher will make a great gift for your favourite person. It is totally unique and will look fabulous hanging where it will catch the light.

The heart centrepiece is made from fused glass, melted in a digitally controlled kiln, and the heart has a crushed velvet appearance. It is surrounded by best quality beautiful textured ruby red art glass.

Warm Heart Fusion is created using the traditional Tiffany technique and the solder is finished off with a black patina, finally polished up with carnauba wax to give everlasting shine. This is real stained glass, not painted on!

Approx 15 x 15 cm (6 x 6 in), it comes ready to hang with two soldered rings and a stained steel chain.

I am a British maker working from my home-based studio, overlooking meadow and woodland in a picturesque Surrey village. I take my inspiration from many sources including nature, the surrounding countryside, the Arts & Craft movement, and, of course, the glass itself.
