Heraldic Artist and Calligrapher in Glasgow.
I design and handpaint paint single or double initial letters in colour (or in 23c gold leaf or Palladium leaf for silver) for handmade Birthday or Wedding Anniversary gifts.
As well as handpainted letters, I also have fantasy animal cards, calligraphy placemats and a selection of calligraphy giclée art prints of sayings and quotes including a selection from JRR Tolkien's The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings..

Love Poppies so had to include a few in my range of contemporary illuminated initial letters - typical red ones here with black spots in the centre.
They are fun to paint and make a striking addition to my alphabet.
I know they come in other colours and so I'd be happy to paint your letter in the colour you choose - just let me know when ordering.

Manuscript initial letter 'P' handpainted in red with poppies on high quality watercolor paper and framed within a double ivory mount.
CUSTOM IDEA - I'm happy to paint ANY letter with Poppies, just tell me which one you need when ordering.
The Poppy represents nostalgia, dreams and sleep; and remembrance.
Finished size of letter design is around 35 x 38mm on watercolour paper of outer size
120 x 120mm, as is the double ivory mount.
Orders will be sent within 3-5 days of being placed and paid for - by First Class if to within the UK and by Airmail to everywhere else.
