I first made one of these lanterns for my daughter to use in her Reiki practice, to hang in her therapy room. That was nearly a year ago, and she loves the gentle light that enhances her space.

A special pendant lampshade inspired by and created from salvaged vintage sheet music.

The music paper comes from various vintage music song books, and each handcut circle is carefully chosen for the words of the songs.
The paper circles are applied to a paper shade with wire insert so the finished lantern is quite strong and durable.
The listing is for the paper shade only, the lantern is designed for use with a standard ceiling pendant type lamp holder; instructions for fitting are included.
Each lantern is unique and made with love and care from original sheet music; yours will be custom made so will not be the one featured.
The lantern is approx 12 (300mm) diameter; the maximum light bulb recommended for this size paper lantern is a 60 watt bulb.
Packaged for shipping in a strong mailing box, carefully wrapped to arrive safely.
