Full description

Sunset and Fields evokes the setting of the sun over a rural landscape of green and yellow fields, and will look absolutely fabulous hanging where it can catch the light.

These are made to order. Just contact me and I can send a photo of the finished item if requested.

Handcrafted by me, this light catcher is absolutely unique, and will make an interesting gift idea.

I have used glass of different textures and effects, combining bright red orange for the setting sun, with leaf green, spring green, streaky green and corn yellow for the fields and a dark broody blue for the sky to stunning effect.

Sunset and Fields is created using the traditional Tiffany technique and the solder is finished off with a black patina, finally polished up with carnauba wax to give everlasting shine.

.

Approx 15.5 x 13 cm (6.5 x 5 in), it comes ready to hang with two soldered rings and a pretty ribbon.

I am a British maker working from my home-based studio, overlooking meadow and woodland in a picturesque Surrey village. I take my inspiration from many sources including nature, the surrounding countryside, the Arts & Craft movement, and, of course, the glass itself.
