Custom order for Prudence
Brand new quality rolled edge lampshade by Folly&Glee made from a stunning original vintage cotton barkcloth fabric featuring a fabulous einter scene painted by American folk artist Grandma Moses.
The painting is actually called Early Springtime and was painted in 1945. The artist wrote of her inspiration. These are the damp snow days, Moses wrote, when we love to go to the woods and look for the first bloom of the trailing arbutus, which sometimes blooms beneath the snow, or gather the pussy willow. Those are the days of childhood.
The drum shade as photographed measures 20cm diameter and 23cm high. The shade is fitted for use with a table lamp.
