Full description
Aqua Foam is a hand crocheted handbag with single lucite button closure & short crocheted shoulder strap. The handbag has also been fully lined with 100% cotton material.
This handbag has been crocheted in 100% acrylic yarn of two colours, the main body of the handbag is in bright white and the outer edges in soft aqua blue/green. The crochet pattern forms soft crest & waves, which remind me of a gentle rolling sea.
As the handbag is made from 100% acrylic yarn, with integral crocheted handle & 100% cream cotton lining, it is both machine and hand washable at 40'C, but I would suggest drying flat to retain its shape.
Approximate measurements: The handbag is slightly wider at the base than the opening of the bag. The height, excluding the handle, is approx 20cms and the width is approx 32cms at the widest point.
This handbag was inspired by the yarn colours, I tried to capture the colours of the ocean and the style of crochet pattern to mimic the roll and swell of a gentle sea, to make this an ideal handbag for summer months, however, it could equally be said to give the colours of ice and snow, so a handbag for all seasons.
