love this yarn, recycled from a cardigan that didn't work out and thought it would make a great headband, think i was right, can feel a beret coming on now, as i have more to play iwth.

Another fine example of my 'bandanlana' the headband that thinks it's a beanie!
For this one i used a recently discontinued yarn by Sirdar , 'Peru' a soft and cuddly blend of wool, alpaca and acrylic.
I've knitted the yarn in a double strand for robust ,very soft fabric and the varying shades of terracotta in the yarn have produced a pleasing tweedy effect.
ideal for ladies with with long hair, either worn with as a headband with long loose locks, or with an 'updo' , ponytail,' pineapple' or plait. Whatever way you wear it, your head and ears will be toasty warm.
Cleverly contoured to fit the head in utmost comfort without slippage.
Fastened with a wooden button at the back so that you can place the band on your head without disturbing your coiffure.
Hand wash , cold rinse, dry flat. Made in Mexico, see my story!!!
