The inspiration for this design is the novel The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. The colour scheme of the circus is black and white, and the reveurs all wear a touch of red. The original design, for ease of finding materials, is charted for black on white, but as you can see from the model I stitched, you can use any combination of colours and stitch different sections in whatever shade you choose.
