Full description
This lovely Spring bunting has been upcycled from a discarded copy of the beautiful book, The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady by Edith Holden. In 1906, Edith Holden recorded in words and paintings the flora and fauna of the British countryside through the seasons. This bunting has been made from some of her gorgeous pictures from Spring.
There are 9 scalloped circle flags, each measuring 9 cm in diameter. The banner is designed to be viewed from one side only and isn't really suitable for use outdoors – well, it IS paper after all!
The bunting has been threaded together with strong green linen thread. If the flags were placed end to end on the thread, the bunting would be 80cm long. We’ve included an additional 2m of thread so that you can spread the flags out if you want to – they slide easily – and there will still be plenty of thread to hang up the bunting.
