Inspiration: I was sketching deer, deer from all angles, days of drawing reindeer, does, bucks, stags, fawns, you name it, I drew it. And then after all that I sat down without looking at any reference materials and scribbled. And he was the perfect drawing. Just right for me!
Its got a wintry sort of feel but it's not denominational so it's the perfect gift for all sorts of winter celebrations. Christmas, Winter Solstice, just because you care- any event that is an opportunity to share love can never be a bad thing. Frame it for a wall; post it to a friend; pop it in a scrapbook. Don't forget to see my other deer prints, like spring time deer and matching deer cards!
Process: I printed the snow effect by dusting the paper with flour. Then then ink sticks to the flour not the paper and when it's dry I blow the flour off and it looks like snow. So the snow in each print looks a little different, but they are all very lovely.

Full description
This is my screen print of a stag. It's printed with a nice dark burgundy brown colour which reminded me of chocolate. This is a fat free chocolate reindeer that lasts and lasts. Everyone likes a chocolate deer and this one won't melt or make you gain weight or feel bad so he's pretty much ideal. Except he doesn't taste very nice. Please don't eat him.
Size: Printed by me on acid free, smooth, A5 heavy weight cartridge paper. A5 is 148 x 210 mm (5.8 x 8.3 inches). Fits standard sized frames (either with an A5 aperture or an 8x6 one frames are not provided)
Materials: I use water based (eco friendly) acrylic inks delicious dark chocolate to make this simple elegant artprint. All materials are archival to last as an heirloom into the future.
Important stuff: My screenprints are hand printed and hand registered by eye and unlike computer generated images are subject to slight variations that make each a unique piece of art.
