Full description
Cylindrical focal bead in teal transparent glass. The bead has been decorated with narrow stripes of silvered ivory glass. Heating has allowed these to spread and the resulting band have been twisted in several places to give a complex interlocking pattern on the surface of the bead.
The two plain spacer beads are made from the same rod of teal glass and are identical in colour - they just look a different shade in the photo for some strange reason.
Focal bead measures 20mm in length by 11mm diameter and the two spacers are 10mm x 7mm
the beads were made on 1.6mm mandrels and have been fully annealed
