Have the world hanging from your ear!!!!
These tiny little worlds are just over 11mm in diameter, made from transparent deep colbalt blue glass and white moongold. The glass has been given special treatment to produce this lovely green-white cloudy effect on the surface.
Ontop I have floated some 22ct white moongold to give the effect of islands and continents, then wraped clear glass over the top to protect it and give more depth to the glass. Moongold is normal gold that has been given special treatment to turn it into a white gold. It gives these worlds a lovely 'noctural' feel.
These are then fixed to 925 sterling silver findings, from bottom of the worlds to top of the dangle is about 30mm.
All the glass work is hand made by myself with lampwork techniques in my own studio, making each piece of glass totally unique - even both worlds on this set are slightly different. They are then annealed in a microprocessor controlled kiln to improve toughness. I can also make in other colours to request, but each one is a one off as two are never identical. (Due to the delicate nature of these I do not recommend wearing these whilst washing or sleeping!)
