My new line! I've been doing careful research (watching reruns of Meerkat Manor) and have worked out my own pattern for a mob of these adorable little creatures. They are all knitted in the round, with head and body in one piece, in a soft hardwearing acrylic.
This listing is for a adult meerkat toy. He is taller with a longer, slimmer body. Like the teenager his back legs and tail have been wired to allow him to stand freely in the typical "tripod" stance. His bottom has been weighted with bean-bag-filling to give him stability.
Approximately 7" tall, standing, he is on alert for all possible dangers.
His flexible limbs and tail can be posed to suit you - he can sit and sprawl, his tail can be worn erect.
If you would like more than one meerkat (and let's face it, who wouldn't?) please send me a message and I will make you a reserved listing for your own mob (that, apparently, is the collective noun!)
Not suitable for tinies due to seedbead eyes, wiring and the aforementioned beanbag granules.
