Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher handmade using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
It is a Cornflower. Bright blue and summery.
I've designed it with 8 slightly longer 'triangle' petals and another 8 wider petals in between. The petals are made from 2 types of blue glass, one beautifully streaky and the other clear blue. In the centre is a little flowery light blue bead and
I've finished it off, having studied several photos of cornflowers while designing this, with 8 stamens made of wire.
he flower is 10 cm in diameter and hangs from a silvery chain attached to the top.
A lovely present for Valentine or Mothers Day.
