We can't all be stars... But we can all shine
This is a 3 colour screen print, designed and printed by myself.
It is based on a hand drawn illustration by myself - which in turn was inspired by paper cut designs.
Please note that this print - although part of the edition - has a slight mis-print at the top left hand corner. This is the nature of hand printed loveliness - not always perfect -which makes each print individual. From the picture - you can see there is a small white patch where the ink did not take from the screen therefore is reduced from £25 to £20.
This edition has been printed onto 300gsm Snowdon paper - the single colour background (which is a lovely dark turquoise-y blue) comes in an edition of 20. All prints then have a dark grey silhouette over print, and finished off with silver stars.
Each print is signed and numbered - and once this edition is gone - that's it!
The print itself is 265mm (W) x 370mm (H) with the paper itself being 350mm x 500mm (approx) - which is just slightly smaller than A3 - which makes buying a frame for it a breeze - IKEA Ribba frames are a perfect fit - as are any standard frame that has a mount to fit A3 sized paper.
When purchased, your print will be sent sealed in a poly bag, and then gently rolled and sent in a poster tube. I attempt to post all orders within 3 working days.
I love the technique of papercuts - but I love printing - so combining an illustration - I created this screen print. I love the sentiment in the print - ideal for children and adults alike.
