Item details

Turned "green" Beech wood goblet. One piece, turned fresh from felling. Bark on, and thin section bowl and base. MAY move in shape / form due to temperature / humidity fluctuations (beyond my control). Sanded, but NOT polished / stained. Approx 10" tall and 3" diameter - NOT round, due to the nature of the branch wood! This is an attractive simple piece, more can be made to match, depending on the branch wood available. Othere types of tree species are available - PLEASE, email for variations. Can be made to order for height / diameter / wood types. (Supply your own wood if you have anything special!).

Some designs were found in an old magazine (15 years plus!), I liked the idea, and a new book about green wood turning showed how it is done, to prevent deformation. My wife and I like the movement possible as the wet wood dries after turning, so I made this!
